Live Up to Your Ability!

Dictionary.com defines "ability" the following ways:
   1. power or capacity to do or act physically, mentally, legally, morally, financially, etc.
   2. competence in an activity or occupation because of one's skill, training, or other qualification:
       "the ability to sing well."
I go against the basic rule of a definition by using part of a word to DEFINE that word by saying that "ability" is that which you are ABLE to do or capable of doing.
I have no idea what that means for you, but YOU do!
Hey, if by now you don't realize the importance of being honest with yourself during this process of "self-examination", then you just haven't been paying attention, friend.
We MUST be honest with ourselves when considering such things as this. YOU know what it is that you are able to do and accomplish in your life...you just may not like the truth behind whether you are living up to that or not.
In order for us - you and me - to achieve SUCCESS (whatever that means for you) in our lives we MUST live up to our ability.
Now listen, I understand that there are just "those days" where we don't live up to our best. I get that...we ALL have days like that from time to time. However, the "secret" (it's really not a secret) is to not allow "those days" to turn into "all of" our days. Make sense?
So I encourage you (and I ask that you encourage me to do the same) to live up to YOUR ability each and every day and to challenge and encourage each and every person that you come into contact with during the day to do the same.
I think you'll feel better about things when you do and it will improve your outlook and determination on reaching those goals and dreams that you have set for yourself.
So, as always, be sure to...
"Make it an AWESOME day! (Who else is going to do it for you?)"
