Why Are You Running With the Crowd?

So, HAVE you ever taken the time to check out the results that the rest of "the crowd" is getting? I would guess that the results are likely not what you really desire.

You've heard of the "98%  vs. 2%" rule, have you not?

Simply put, 98% of people are all doing the same thing and getting the same thing while only 2% have stepped out on a different path and are getting much different (and better) results than all the rest.

If I remember correctly, statistics point to the realization that, by age 65, 98% of the population will be either dead or broke. Yeah, those that are still alive are likely "dead broke".

I've always heard that, in dealing with stocks or commodities that, if you are hearing on all of the "expert shows" that you need to get in on something that, the reality of the matter is, it's too late! Those that got in BEFORE "everybody else" did are the ones that profited the most from the action in the market.

Many times we THINK we are doing things differently when, in fact, we aren't. Have you ever noticed how many people (teens and college age) state that they are their "own person" and that they are "unique" yet, when you look at that group of people the same age, they all tend to look and act alike?

Doing something different simply for the sake of doing something different isn't what we're talking about either. There must be a REASON and a DECISION for such an action.

So how do you know what the "2% -ers" are doing?  FIND and FOLLOW one.

I try to listen to those that fit into this 2% group. They THINK differently, they ACT differently, they TALK differently and they LIVE differently.

They don't necessarily "fit the mold" of what you think someone in this category would. From what I understand, Sam Walton (the founder of Wal-Mart who, I believe, would be rolling over in his grave if he knew how his store was being run now) drove an old truck and even scolded his wife and made her take back some new car because it stood out too much.

You've likely heard the story of Warren Buffett living in the same house that he bought YEARS ago that, by most people's estimations, would not be considered a "mansion" of any sort.

She would be the first to tell you that she is not a "Sam Walton" or a "Warren Buffett" but, the one that I follow to help me continue to develop the mindset and actions of those in the top 2% is Dani Johnson (www.DaniJohnson.com).

You've heard me talk about her and I've shared many of her thoughts with you on numerous occasions. And you are also aware of the fact that I have been sharing information about one of her events coming up very soon that YOU really should decide to attend. Do you want to "run" with a crowd that is actually getting outstanding results? Then be sure to check out the testimonials that literally FLOOD Dani's information and show what actually IS happening in their lives. Then, get signed up and be sure to attend and soak in HOW to make progress towards this 2% mindset each and every day!

DON'T MISS THIS EVENT! - MONEY BACK GUARANTEE! It doesn't matter who you are or what you do for a living, you don't want to miss this life-changing event. You've heard me talk about Dani Johnson many times before right? I will be attending one of her live events in San Antonio, Texas on July 12th - 13th and we'd love to meet YOU there! Go here to check it out for yourself and get ready to take your life to the next level!

So, to sum it up, if you are going to "run" with a crowd, why not "run" with those that have proven results? Think about it, why would you do anything else?

I'll see you in San Antonio and, until then, whatever you do, always be sure to...

"Make it an AWESOME day! (Who else is going to do it for you?)"

When Things Don't Feel Right...

You've heard of the "two percenter" as opposed to the "ninety-eight percenter", right?

If you haven't, to put it simply, the 2% set themselves apart from the other 98% of the population and, as a result, are at the top 2% of income earners.

The 98% are those that are part of the crowd that does the same things as everyone else in that 98% group. They follow the same plans and do the same things. That doesn't necessarily mean that they are unhappy or even unsuccessful (the definition of "success" can mean many different things).

But, it DOES mean this: there are only 2% that are willing to step out from the crowd and take more risks and, as a result, usually reap more rewards.

They don't look at things the same, think the same or do the same things as everyone else. They are not careless. They do their homework or "due diligence" but they also are not afraid to "follow their gut" when making their final decision.

Notice the quote from Albert Einstein above.  Following the crowd will usually take you only as far as the crowd is willing to go. It's that same idea that says that you will fit into the average of those ten people with which you spend most of your time.  You tend to go no further or do any better than the average of that group of people.

Why not step out and take the chance - the risk - so that you have a chance of finding yourself where no one has ever been before?

BECAUSE IT SCARES US!

I've heard Anthony Robbins say something along the line of how important it is for each of us to become more afraid of staying where we are than being afraid of the possible risk and unknown.

Step out of the shadow of fear and walk boldly.

And, as you do so, be sure to...

"Make it an AWESOME day! (Who else is going to do it for you?)"
